Blueprint of Blessing

Christ is the image of the invisible God, and by Christ were all things created. (Col 1:15-16)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Why did God the Father create everything through Christ His Son? Why does God have a Son? Why do we need to go through the Son to reach the Father? The answers to these questions are at the heart of the science of salvation.

If we can understand the relationship of God to His only Begotten Son, and Their relationship to the rest of the universe, we have a key to understanding creation itself and everything in it. For everything was created in this pattern of the Father-Son, and in this relationship is the loving pattern for all relationships.

Christ in the Sabbath

What does the burning bush, Mount Sinai, and the 4th Commandment have in common?

They all are described as "holy" in the Scriptures.

But what does it mean for something to be holy? What makes something holy?

In this booklet, we will investigate why these places and times are described as holy, and how it affects you today.

Do Angels of God Kill?

What do we make of statements like these?

And to the [other angels] he [God] said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. Ezekiel 9:5-6

Do God’s holy angels really kill people – “old and young, both maids, and little children, and women”? Does Christ truly speak the words: “These people must die, go and execute them!” Does the Hebrew word nakah (to smite) always mean “to kill”? Jesus said He glorified His Father while here upon the earth, John 17:4. However, Jesus never killed anyone while here. Did Jesus hide this part of the character of God? If executing people is part of His character, then why did He not reveal this while here on earth?

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. Luke 9:56

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? John 14:9

Escape from the Prison of Lies

The delusions that surround us are a common feature of the times we live in. The most dangerous ones are those which are mixed with truth. To be able to escape the prison of lies, we must recognize each one. This booklet exposes the main approaches that mislead us. May we be set free from them and respond to God's call to receive happiness in the "glorious liberty of the children of God" (Romans 8:21).

Finding Comfort

This booklet is the first chapter of the book Father of Love by Kevin J. Mullins

➢   Does God condemn and judge others while commanding us not    to judge but instead to love others unconditionally?

➢   Does God torture His enemies for eternity in a lake of fire while at the same time commanding us to love our enemies?

➢   Does God spitefully send plagues and pestilence upon people who choose not to love Him while demanding we pray for health and happiness to fall upon those who do not love us?

Fountain of Blessing

Entering into God’s REST through the Channels of His Appointed Times

The Words that the Father spoke to His Son at His baptism echo the blessing He poured upon Him on the first Sabbath of Creation. Daily the Father delighted in His Son, and the Son rejoiced before Him. On the Sabbath the Father breathed upon His Son and the Son was refreshed in His Father’s love. This intimate connection between Father and Son was placed permanently in the Sabbath, and each Sabbath the Father breathes out His refreshing rest upon His Son and all those who accept the Son.

How Do You Read?

Christ tells us that the Word of God is truth. But there are so many different beliefs, and apparently all of them come from the Bible, so how can we know? And how can we know the truth when we find apparent contradictions in the Bible?

On Universalism (FOL Version)

God is Love, so somehow
He will bring all men into Eternal Life.

This is the basic underlying belief of all types of universalism. But is it what the Bible teaches? This book aims to answer this and other questions, such as:

Is there any distinction in what happens to believers and unbelievers at the end of time?

Are there saved and unsaved? What does it mean to be saved or not saved?

How do faith and free will fit into universalism?

What is the opposite of Eternal life?

Will anything be annihilated?

Does overcoming sin matter?

Resist Not Evil

There is a determined resistance of personal injury by means of injury inflicted; as when a man deliberately takes life to save life, destroys an assailant’s eye to save an eye, inflicts a violent blow to prevent a blow… It was of such resistance as this that our Savior was speaking. It is such resistance as this that he prohibits. His obvious doctrine is: Resist not personal injury with personal injury.

Showing Respect for Colossians 2:14-17

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."

Most Christians say that this verse says that Sabbath, New Moon, and Feasts are a shadow; now they are done away with. But is that what the verse is saying?

And what about this verse? "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross..."

What are the ordinances that were against us? Many say that is God's law, and that it was nailed to the cross. Is that what it means?

In this book we look at these issues.

The Nearness of God

An evening sitting around a campfire sounds great. But what if someone is there you don’t like? Those few hours could be very uncomfortable for all involved.

Now imagine being invited to spend eternity around God’s campfire in Heaven. But you’ve heard so many bad things about Him... Why should you want to spend eternity with someone so controlling and so angry, someone you don’t like? Well, that’s your conclusion about God from what you’ve heard from Christians and non-Christians alike.

But what if we’ve all been tricked? What if He isn’t the controlling bully people have made Him out to be? What if He really is a Father who actually just wants the best for His children, and wants to be close to them? How can He change our misperceptions and put within us a longing to be at home with ‘Dad’? Watch as our Heavenly Father attempts to set things right for us, hoping we will change our mind about Him. He’s never changed His mind about us.
