Ever so often a light bulb of truth, a concept and a fresh paradigm of thinking pop up within the truth seekers journey. A fantastic formula that unlocked so many difficult paradoxs in the bible and life, my head is still spinning. Starts simple and leads to a great depth for those who love to get away from oppositional thinking styles. Practical enough to make a total change in my inteactions with others, and difficult passages in the bible.
The book Identity Wars has truly been a blessing to me. I come from the Maasai community where my father was the first person to become a Christian. I on the other hand never truly understood God, and this state of mind has really made me frantically searching for my identity. Not having the right guide I have struggled to understand my relationship to God just as Adam lost his identity as a beloved son of God in the beginning.
