Deeply Touched by My Beloved

I was deeply touched by 'My Beloved'.   I was struck by the sincerity of the author as he described his youth and his grappling to deal with with what Jesus taught in contrast to what the world valued.  This was writing that was doctrinally profound and also real practically, unashamed to proclaim its love of Jesus, and giving proof of sincerity through the author's struggles to honor our Lord which was reciprocated by our Lord in being given ever increasing light .  We have nothing to be afraid of by being honest, "for perfect love casts out fear", "grace does much more abound"   and "the path of the righteous is as the dawning light,

Such Fundamental Concepts

For the first time I read it with my wife back in 2013. I cannot overstate how fundamental its concepts are in regard to defining value and finding one's genuine identity. The realization and application of its core ideas made me rearrange my whole life for the better, making decisions for it which could be considered foolish by side watcher yet, in reality, putting it on a firm basis whereupon I could build for my satisfaction its most beautiful building as it was originally designed by my Maker.

For me, this book was the blessed ushering into a realm of complete freedom from sin, vanity and selfishness through the plain confirmation of my sonship to God through His Beloved Son.
