Acts of Our Gentle God

Acts of Our Gentle God presents compelling evidence from the Bible to exonerate God of the charges that he is uncaring, judgmental, controlling, unfair, bad-tempered, or violent. The book demonstrates that the entire Bible, correctly understood, is in harmony with the definitive statement God is love (1 John 4:8).

Agape

In this volume is found the culmination of a sixteen year search for light on these questions. The journey began when I was reminiscing about the birth of my first son. I thought on the moment I first held him in my arms and the deep sense of love I felt for him. To have a taste of such divine emotions brought me into an encounter with God that impressed upon me the thought that the feelings I had for my son were an expression of God’s love for His Son and consequently His earth born children.

As You Judge

Judgment day! Most cultures around the world hold to a principle that everyone is going to face judgment for the things they have done in this life. Jesus Christ provides a simple principle to endure this judgment process.

Judge  not, that you be not judged. Matthew 7:1

What is it like to live in a realm where you cease to judge others? How is this possible? We are constantly judging people’s looks, height, weight, skills. We judge people for their skin colour, their religious affiliation, their social status, their income and their intellect.

Where can we turn to find the perfect example of someone who does not judge so that we can follow this example?

You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. John 8:15

At-One-Ment

What are the steps involved for coming into complete harmony with God? Does God require blood to be shed before He will forgive us? Did God cause His Son to be killed to pay our debt of sin? Why did Jesus compare Himself to being lifted up like the serpent made of brass? What is the significance of Moses striking the Rock when He was commanded to speak to it? If the human race was taken captive by Satan, who sets the ransom price for our release? Is Penal Substitution required for Salvation? Is the death of the Cross a Vicarious Atonement for our sins? Do the Christian churches teach the complete truth of the Atonement?

Behold the Lamb

Behold the Lamb delves into important inquiries surrounding the character of God and the true nature of His law. Through a comprehensive examination of the scriptures, this treatise challenges the prevalent theories in Christianity that portray God as a dictatorial figure who imposes arbitrary and capricious decrees. The book argues that God's law reflects the intrinsic order of creation and mirrors His eternal, unchanging attributes of love and nonviolence. It examines how Satan has sought to distort humanity's perception of God's law and character by casting ambiguity upon the genuine nature of sin.

By reconciling God's actions in the Old Testament with Christ's character in the New Testament, the manuscript aims to dispel contemporary notions that label God as a harbinger of death and destruction. Rather, it is argued that sin has the ability to cause death and destruction all on its own, without any intervention from God.

Ultimately, the author suggests that by perceiving God the Father through the lens of Christ, we begin to dismantle the relics of pagan doctrine that continue to plague Christendom.

Key themes include distinguishing between natural and imposed law, unraveling God's wrath and justice from a punitive paradigm, presenting an alternative view to the widely accepted theory of penal substitutionary atonement, and exploring Christ's mission to reveal the Father's benevolent nature.

Canaan Conquest

How do we reconcile the wholesale slaughter of nations by Israel with the sword against the words of Christ? Matthew 26:52 …for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Not only men, women and children also:Deuteronomy 2:34  And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain: Were the Israelites truly in tune with the character of God?

Comforter

Today there are approximately 125000 abortions performed every day or between 40 to 50 million every year. The human race is now killing nearly a quarter of its potential population in order to prevent children. The dramatic rise in porn through means of the internet and the focus on sexual fantasy provides still more evidence of men and women seeking an elusive comfort in sex. The book of Romans provides a clear sequence of descent into destruction when humanity turns from the true character of God and seeks pleasure, comfort, and fulfilment in sex outside of its original design.

Consuming Fire

For those who believe in God, it is almost universally reasoned that the only way to end sin is to stop the wicked dead in their tracks by bringing down a fiery stream of fury from the heart of God to burn up the wicked and bring them to an end. It is often thought that the wicked are not simply going to destroy themselves, and that if God is a God of justice He will punish transgressors and reward them for their evil according to their deeds by directly putting them into flames and burning them alive Himself. Would a loving God do this to His children?

In reality, this system prevents the mind from engaging a higher state of reality.

Maatan discovers the divine pattern key to escaping the city at the very fountain created in Brass and dedicated to Apollo and his associates. Trace the amazing escape of Maatan, Stella and their family and friends from the city dedicated to rebellion against God and His beloved Son.

Father of Love

In this age of uncertainty, people are starting to question God’s character. Does He condemn and judge others while commanding us not to judge but to love others unconditionally? Does He torture His enemies for eternity in a lake of fire while at the same time commanding us to love our enemies? Does He spitefully send plagues and pestilence upon people who choose not to love Him while demanding we pray for health and happiness to fall upon those who do not love us? Are we not to live a character like His? Or are we reading the Bible through a mirror which reflects back to us what’s in our thinking and practice? In Jn. 14:9 Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” When did Jesus ever condemn or judge anyone? When did Jesus torture anyone? When did Jesus kill anyone? Jesus counsels all of us to anoint our eyes with the spiritual eye-salve He is offering so that we might “see” more clearly (Rev. 3:18). Then, as we read the Bible through this new eyesight, the veil of fear and condemnation is taken away (2 Cor. 3:14-16). Thus, as the everlasting loving character of our heavenly Father is truly revealed, we begin to see that God is not against man, but that God and man share a common enemy who seeks to destroy our faith in a Father who loves us with all His heart, and with all His soul, and with all His strength.

Identity Wars

Identity Wars is a journey of self-discovery. It is an invitation to learn of your value in a purely relational context.

Our lives are bombarded with a constant drone of messages telling us that success only comes from proving to ourselves and the world that we have what it takes, that we have the right stuff. It is a system that teaches us to only feel valuable and important when we achieve and perform to a certain standard. The results of this system are in and the evidence is not good. Millions are depressed and 100's of people a day ending their lives in despair.

I invite you to learn the true nature of the war we are in - an identity war of what defines our value and worth. The stakes are high because it is life and death. This book contains my journey and the principles I learnt along the way. Freedom is a relative thing but this book documents my road to freedom.

Jesus Christ and Him Crucified

See how the cross of Christ unlocks all the mysteries surrounding the violent events that have taken place throughout history. Is it possible to see “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” in the stories of the Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the plagues of Egypt etc.?

Life Matters

Deep in the heart of each human being is the need to feel secure in their sense of worth. Everything we do in life is influenced by our beliefs in where our value comes from. In this book, you’ll find the Biblical view of where our worth comes from, with a focus on the role that family relationships play when it comes to establishing our sense of value. You’ll be taken on journey along the history of humanity to learn the contrast between God’s family kingdom, where each member is secure in their sense of worth, and Satan’s family kingdom, where each individual strives to secure their own sense of worth. The insights from this book are bound to change your life, as they provide clarity on your own family relationships, and a clearer understanding of God and His Son.

Medicine for the Soul

At a time when I was going through a deep personal crisis, I began to search specifically for quotes from Ellen G. White on God's love and care to comfort me. I collected them and over some time they became more and more.

Original Love

If we worship a God who loves because of inherent qualities then we will do the same. We become what we behold. Yet if we worship a Son who was given all things and rests in the assurance of His Father’s sweet benevolent Agape love, then we can be transformed into the image of this love and love as God loves His Son.

Our God is Agape and in Himis no Eros at all

Removing the Veil

The Bible describes the work of salvation of mankind as framed within two great covenants. Unlike what is generally understood, these two covenants are experiences of the heart.

This book details the mechanics of slavation, the condition of man, the love of God, and the centrality of Christ in bringing God's promises near and making them a reality.

The Children’s Guide to Understanding the Character of God

What is God's true character? What does the Bible mean when it talks about God’s wrath and anger? Did God make use of violence and cause a flood to destroy millions of people because they would not do what He said? Did God’s anger want to seek revenge and cause harm upon the Egyptians by sending them 10 plagues? Did God get so irritated with His people that He sent poisonous snakes to kill them? Is this really God’s justice?

These are questions that our Christian children will have to answer as they get older. Will they be ready?

Let’s get them ready!

Times of Refreshing

Everyone all over the world attend various gatherings; from birthday parties, funerals, graduations, weddings and anniversaries. Even religious groups across the earth attend gatherings such as weekly church services, baptisms, communions, and yearly Christmas and Easter services etc. The list goes on and on.

But have you ever considered that God has outlined specific gatherings in His word? In the Old Testament these sacred gatherings were called moédim, which simply means “The Appointed Times”, “Festivals”, or, “Feasts” (Leviticus 23). In the New Testament these same gatherings are called “The Times of Refreshing” (Acts 3:19).

Wisdom of God

He that has the Son has life. Why is this so? For in the Son of God resides the pure heart of an obedient Son to His Father. He always does those things that please the Father. He also has the Father’s blessing and deep affection. The heart of the Son rests perfectly in His Father’s love.
