When you think of a prosperous nation what comes to mind? What causes it to flourish?

We will explore the thoughts of some of the founding fathers and past presidents of the United States and a little know Oxford social anthropologist and compare them to the principles and pattern given to us in the word of God.

Human Love vs 'Original Love'

The book Original Love helped me so much in understanding more deeply the Love of God for me personally. I so loved this notion that says "He loves me not because I have anything to offer Him but because I came from Him." (Genesis 2:23) This idea captured my heart. It made me realized that as a woman, I don't need to display my worth from my own resources to attract in any way and I don't need to prove my value or capability. I have nothing on my own. All that I possessed was given to me by God through Christ (the second Adam), and with Him I am can become the receiver of blessings with a trusting obedience and a joyful submission.
